UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS (BACHELOR’S DEGREE)

Candidates for Admission to all undergraduate degree programs must:
Clearly indicate the program for which he/she is applying.
Submit a 1-2 page typed narrative outlining one’s intent (e.g., reasons for undertaking a college degree, professional aspirations, etc.).

Enclosures & Application checklist

  • Duly signed and fully completed the Application Form for Admissions.
  • Copies of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Copies of any Certificates and Credentials if available.
  • Copies of all transcripts, diploma supplement or High School student record.
  • All applicants are required to provide a Resume or CV.
  • Passport Color Copy.
  • Photo (Passport Style in formal dress).
 

Students who have completed any postsecondary courses (technical [two-year] college, community college, four-year college or university) should submit as well an official transcript of all college-level work completed, in addition to (but not in place of) official proof of High School completion documents.

Note: For all Admissions and evaluation procedures, only official or sometimes properly certified documents can be accepted.

Those with former college/university Courses or Credits may, if appropriate, complete a “Petition for Transfer Credit” at the time of initial admission or as soon thereafter as possible.

Please verify that courses have been completed at an Branch Campus or Accredited Center, Ministry of Ed. Recognized University, or Equivalent, that such courses should be aligned in content and level with those offered at Universidad Azteca (Azteca University).

Note: It is essential to review the detailed policies and procedures concerning the evaluation of each requested course for transfer prior admissions.

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS (MASTER AND DOCTORATE DEGREE)

Candidates for Admission to all Master’s degree programs must:
Indicate the program for which he/she is applying.
Enclosures & Application checklist

  • Duly signed and fully completed the Application Form for Admissions.
  • Copies of all Diploma, Academic Degrees, Certificates and Credentials awarded or issued by accredited or recognized Colleges, Universities, or Postsecondary Institutions.
  • Copies of all previous studies (transcripts, diploma supplement).
  • All applicants are required to provide a Resume or CV.
  • Passport Color Copy.
  • Photo (Passport Style in formal dress).
 

In some cases we will require an official university transcript – indicating successful completion and award of a Bachelor’s or Master´s Degree from an accredited baccalaureate-issuing or Ministry-approved institution be forwarded from the issuing institution (or official agency) to Universidad Azteca (Azteca University) .

Note: Official documents are those issued by the school attended, or by a Ministry of Education or by other agencies, if deemed acceptable by Universidad Azteca (Azteca University).

Mandatory Graduate Degree Candidate Interview

Most Master and Doctoral applications include an interview of some sort. This allows us to discuss the Doctoral Degree particulars with you in more detail.

We will ask you about your background, goals and project, we will discuss how Azteca University can help you achieve your professional goals at Doctoral Levels. Once Azteca University has invited you for an interview it’s a safe bet that we think you can complete Graduate Program.

This makes the interview an important part of your Graduate application. Your interview will be an important part of your postgraduate research application. This is your chance to meet your prospective Department, discuss your project and show your potential as an Academic Researcher.

Note: For all Admissions and Evaluation Procedures, only official or properly certified documents can be accepted.

Those with former College/University Courses or from one of our Accredited Centers (Branch Campus) at the Graduate level may, if appropriate, complete a Transfer Credit Process at the time of initial application or as soon thereafter as possible.

Note: It is essential to receive complete Paperwork for Admissions in order to prepare the Evaluation Report to include each petitioned course for transfer into a graduate program.Hold the minimum of a High School or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or Ministry-recognized institution of higher education.
